presenting...leslie feist
The saddest part of a broken heart isn't the ending so much as the start
The tragedy starts from the very first spark
Losing your mind for the sake of your heart
The saddest part of a broken heart isn't the ending so much as the start
I *heart* Feist. there's just no way around it...she occupies about half my "Top 25 most played" list on itunes, and has had such a musical presence in my day-to-day life. I remember first listening to "let it die" and thinking: "holy cow! this is some weiiiiiiird stuff." and then I listened to the album some more, and some more...and simply fell in love with the parisian pop/folky feel of her music. like I've mentioned many times before, I appreciate an artist's honesty the most - there's a playfulness and laissez-faire attitude to her performing that I just love.
One Two Three Four
Tell me that you love me more
Sleepless long nights, that is what my youth was for
Old teenage hopes are alive at your door
Left you with nothing but they want some more
Oh, you're changing your heart...
Oh, you know who you are...
Another plus with her music....it's great accompaniment to my snoopy dancing.
