Feist - 1 2 3 4

the other night, a few of us had the great privilege of attending feist's concert in vancouver (@ the orpheum). Oh boy did she blow us away...she's got an incredibly eclectic band (xylophone, banjo, sliding guitar,strings, brass) and one heck of a talented drummer (who at one point banged the hats with his hand!). but beyond the musicality of the group, it is feist who shines. she's honest, carefree, and the girl knows how to have fun! she would dance like nobody was watching (and still look cute doing it)and encouraged audience participation many a time...

she makes me proud to be a canadian! (and do check out the vid...it's short and sweet and happy. long live teenage hopes!)
