"god is in the rain"

the line "god is in the rain" really stuck with me after watching "v for vendetta"...
given the especially wet weather from these past couple of days, the quote resonates on a whole new level.
thinking about the metaphor of God = Rain, some quick connections can be made:
Water has always been a symbol of healing, of replenishment...and the idea of rain falling from the sky captures those ideas for me. Rain that cleanses our souls, washing away our ugliness, granting us new life and new hope.
