fancy dinner
I try to cook a least a few days of the week - which helps me realize that speed and manoeuvrability in the kitchen are skills that take years to manifest...to whip up a meal in half an hour is possible; if you're smart and have the experience. I have neither...but I've been managing a bit better since deciding to cook more frequently for fat worm, wormball, chocolate ball and strawberry ball (the girlfriend).
I have to say...there's nothing better than to sit down and enjoy a meal - I've always been the type to grab something and multitask, and I've recently rediscovered the joys of simply sitting down and eating together as a family. I've missed those times.
Hmm...I think I'm going to defrost that leg of lamb that's been in the freezer now...
