the little thing

I honestly believe there's no better way to pass the time in the car or on the bus than listening to the radio.
I realized this as I drove off the Burrard Bridge yesterday afternoon in the blazing sun, swinging a right on Pacific, and listening to the sound of Nora Young's voice - talking about an interview from a little while ago re: how the TED talks are being translated to a multiplicity of languages across the globe - all done by volunteers. And then she played a call from a listener who said that he's just become a volunteer in this capacity...such a cool thing. I love how radio and action can intersect :)

But yes - that, to me, was such a perfect moment.

I agree. I had considered lenting music in the car, but I freaked out and lented something else instead.

Unrelated, I had a little chuckle when I read, "I drove off the Burrard Bridge." Don't do it, Vespertine! Life is worth living! :D
