sweet taste of summer
i'm so sad that strawberry season is over...these local strawberries were explosions of sweetness :) I can never go back to california strawberries again!

hmm hmm hmm. I would like to have a strawberry millefeuille on Friday after lunch, miss Nesbitt!!
I know......it's been a long while since I've tasted fresh local strawberries (probably since my days in the 'Wack, Chilliwack that is). This summer we went strawberry picking with the kids and I swear Cali berries pale in comparison (yes, they are beautiful and perfect), but local ones are oozing with freshness!
