Ms. Fong, don't hate me!

since i'm typed as a "serious" blogger, and by "serious" , I don't mean hardcore, but more so in the sense that i talk about topics that are not very trivial....I'd like to offer up some fluff! so dear readers, to make up for all the fun i've taken away from you, the following should make you at least crack a smile.

the other night, as Ms. Fong and I were walking on the dyke (trying to digest the japanese food we had consumed), we thought it'd be funny to assign professions to our friends. "professions...how boring!" you say, but these are not just regular jobs...we tried to assign them completely against anything that person would do in their lifetime; but still have it somewhat make sense (for the most part). if RCAC was CACR (Chinese Association of Christian Rogues), and that the world had turned upside down, the following people would be working as:

(No particular order...and this is just a selection...not everything is "edifying")

1) Mr. Lane: Chinese Mafia Leader by night, air traffic director by day.
2) Mr. Chan (Dwayne Tong): Professional tap dancer
3) Mr. Lam: Ballet dancer
4) Mr. Yee, Mr. Lo, and PC: Pizza delivery boys for "Ho Lo Beng Pizza"
5) Ms. Quan: Pickpocket. Works for Mr. Lane. Currently training Ms. Pang to take her place.
6) Mr. Soon-to-be-leaving for Boston: Ju Yook Lo. Favourite food: Ju Yook in the form of Char Siu. Launders money for Mr. Lane.
7) Mr. Lau: Catholic Priest
8) The Wongs: Mr. Wong is a professional hopscotch player, and Mrs. Wong manages his career.
9) Mr. Au: New-age Herbalist. Launders drugs for Mr. Lane.
10) Mr. Chau: Hairstylist
11) Ms. Au: Assassin. Also works for Mr. Lane.

The weird thing is...some of these pairings don't seem odd at all...;)
Credit is due to Ms. Tang as well, in helping with brainstorming.

I can't believe my career. Sheesh, I'm fairly sure I'd make a better Mafia leader. Always make the bossiest person the leader, remember! :D

and what "profession", may I ask, did Ms. Chau (no relation-or is there?-to Hairstylist Chau) and Ms. Fong adopt? Perhaps taxi-driving for Ms. Chau? NAH! IMPOSS-KAPLE! =) "Professional back-seat bike rider" for Ms. Fong?
