blindness

Objectivity is a tricky thing. Whether it actually exists is another story, but assuming that it does; how do you obtain it in a situation where your emotional radar is seriously out of whack?

I'm starting to believe that objectivity is gained by the sheer willingness to set your personal feelings and selfish desires aside. There's no way to fully gain objectivity, but you can try, and in trying...you're bound to find some emotional redemption.

Over the last few days, I've also realized that objectivity may not be something that I seek out for and find. Sometimes, God has a way to surprise you and enlighten you - without you having to try at all.

I'm so thankful for the God-blessed ability to see love in a more objective light - and in the meantime, feel the kind of warmth, joy, and butterflies that have come along with it.

note: is this a super confusing entry?
